PureBuild Inc. was privileged to participate in the creation of the WWII Memorial honoring Tucson and Pima County veterans of WWII. The rammed earth base supports bronze plaques listing the names of soldiers who died serving our country in this conflict. The compass imbedded in the center of the plaque serves as a reminder that the war was fought from every direction across the globe. The memorial, which was unveiled on November 1, 2013, is located in Armory Park. The sculpture was designed by artists Lauri Slenning and Rebecca Thompson.
