Our design process starts with an initial meeting to discuss all aspects of the project. Clients are encouraged to bring images from magazines and other media to help visualize their ideas and features. We gather additional details about their day-to-day living patterns, and visit the site to get a sense of the topography, views, vegetation and surroundings.
Armed with this information, we generate a series of plans and explore home and site relationships. Through client collaboration, we discuss advantages and drawbacks of the various designs and discuss material options. After examining the plans, our clients return with their thoughts and ideas. Through this feedback, we create subsequent designs and the process continues through several stages until a preferred floor plan emerges. Our age-in-place floor plans are individually designed to meet lifestyle needs for all ages and levels of mobility.
